WS1080: Ws1080 light

I have a ws1080, and does that little light on top supposed to blink when theres a transmission, because mine doesnt but i've seen some who do. My screen light turns on though. Help please

Depends how it is programmed in EZ Scan

Right. Here is where you can input a certain color & whether & hiw it flashes, even makes a sound or not when that 1 line/ freq in ezScan is active. You can just glance at the unit & see red color you programmed for Fire & know what it is across the room.

That's what I do. Program the LED to Red for a Fire related freq/channel/TG, Blue for Police/Law Enforcement related, Green for DNR, Orange for roads/highways, etc.
You can set it to flash, or alternate between 2 or more colors.
You can program the display backlight to do specific thing as well, and also many audio sounds.
