I wish more states would do this. It's always nice to be kept up-to-date on how your state's tax dollars are being spent. That being said, the Wyo-Link Project is well worth implementing and would create "interoperability" among all of it's users across the state.

Getting each state on the same sheet of music is impossible. It would be nice to see the entire USA using the same type of radio system. But that is just a flicker of the wild imagination.

Everyone wants a different radio system.

I have seen counties across the USA install new radio equipment and offer the services to the cities and towns in the county. Some of the cities, towns and even county departments run to the nearest radio dealer and get their own system. Then they wonder why response time in emergencies is so long. In many situations the public is still left out in the "COLD"!
