I was quite happy to see the announcement of an upcoming XML format. One thing that I would REALLY like to see is this format being an extention of or directly compatible with GPX format.
GPX format is already a very popular XML format used by Geo-relational applications. Many of these applciations are already doing maping and file format conversions. I would personally be extremely happy if the new "RFX" (Radio Frequency eXchange) format were really an extension of GPX format. This would allow us all to download RF info in RFX format and open them in any of the GPX applications to map towers scanning locations.
Thoughts?!?!
