I believe you are thinking of Vertex. Yaesu Munsen made commercial stuff a long time ago. Then they had the Vertex brand name for the commercial/LMR stuff. Then Motorola bought Vertex. Yaesu/Vertex/Standard rattled around for a while....

Yeah, the links provided are for airband and marine radios, which we wouldn't really classify as "commercial".

Tait's apparatus chargers are brilliant. I was not impressed by the radios I tested for my fire service, but I loved the vehicle chargers for the portables. I am serious, the design is brilliant.
