Yaesu FT-8800..Any software mods like VX-5?

Looking to see if there is any way to mod the FT-8800 for extended xmit/recv with software much like the eve software for the VX-5.

Not that i have seen, but the mod isnt that hard..

well, does the mod open it up like the VX-5 or does it just open up mars/caps? or do you know how much the recieve it opened up? i use to get these from mods.dk, but now you have to pay... thanks for any help!

You don't need software to mod the 8800. Simple to do. Check these links.
