I'll give it a look, I do a fair amount of 222 here. I only have 2 radios for that band however. That would be easier to justify! Thanks for the info. I don't put much in to the 8 watt HT stuff, but the fact it has 222 has my attention!
There are Several reviews out on youtube for the KG-935H and it does approach 7or 8 watts depending on the frequency. and 999 Memories is plenty for all three bands. It will also work crossband too.

For HTs I'm more worried about battery life not necessarily output. If I need more then 3-4 watts I go to plan "b". I tend to talk a bit on occasion and I'd honestly not prefer an HT with higher output. I've had a couple of 5 watters get pretty hot. LOL. They being said that a good price on a tri-band HT. I'm gonna look into it.

Thank you all for your replies.

I wish I knew as much as you do, I will keep learning, it really interests me.
I guess I need to start reading all of that legal stuff, eh?.
I'm really an amateur, but I am not an Amateur Radio Service Licensed Operator, so I really don't know hell of a lot.

It's supplied with a 2600 mah battery, and there is a Optional 3200 mah available for it, for the same price. Using it at Medium power works well, and at High power it Doesn't get overly hot.

Chinese watts not IEEE watts I bet.
They're Not 8 watts at the center of the 2 meter band, but at 143.5 it's 8.8 watts and 7.2 watts on 442.00 mhz. so I'll settle for that. Obviously Not every radio is going to read the same, no matter the variables. At 146.520 I got 6.7 and at 446.00 i got a good 8.4 watts which was surprising. Watch the reviews on youtube, as several of them did their own tests.
