I have an FTM-3200DR stuck in firmware update mode and cannot get it to kick back out. I cannot find anything doing a Google search but I'm sure others have had this problem as well. We have tried the method to reset the radio but it will not even go into that screen. Any ideas folks?

Most current Yaesu radios use a tiny mini-switch and a supplied cable for firmware upgrades. Are you using the correct cable and is the switch in the correct position. Refer to the text file associated with the firmware files and follow the directions precisely... step-by-step.

That's just it. I'm not trying to update it anymore. And we can't find this so-called switch anywhere on the radio.

I didn't see any mention of a firmware update switch in the Operating Manual, Advanced Manual, or the Firmware Update Info sheet.

Inside the Yaesu update folder, there is a .pdf file that, among other things, shows the exact location of the update switch on the back panel of the radio. Most of them are REALLY small!

Here's the name of the file: FTM-3200D_Firmware_Ver_Up_Manual_ENG_1804-C.pdf
