Yaesu: Yaesu VX-8DR Air Band TX

Hello!

Does anybody know how to unlock Yaesu VX-8DR Air Band (108-137MHz) TX Capabiliy?

Is this upgrade possible at all?

Some of the Yaesu's will transmit in the VHF airband with a mod but they only transmit in FM mode, which defeats the purpose.

The VX-8DR is an amateur radio HT that is not legal for transmitting out of the amateur bands even if there is a mode available. If there is a need to transmit on Air bands, the best would be a dedicated air band transceiver, such as Icom or Yaesu desiganted Air band transceivers.

the radio only transmits in FM mode, the AM receiver is just that a receiver only
