Is Yamhill county still on lowband vhf or have they moved to uhf system?

Last time I checked Yamhill county SO was still using the low band freqs. I know for sure that the rest of the agencies in Yamhill county (not including City of Newberg) are all on the UHF system. I worked out there for 8 years and my old work buddies tell me that they are going to be dropping the trunking crap on UHF and just use it as a conventional system....WHEN?.......GOD ONLY KNOWS.......Look how long it took us to get off of low band!

Who conned them into using a MPT-1327 system anyways? The Brits?

MPT works nice when its set up properly! People who set it up must no nothing about the product.

Don't know who convinced they to use it for Police comms, its excellent for just about all other uses but the 1.5 second call setup for large systems is just a bit to long for PS comms. Ofcouse smaller systems with a few sites have an allmost instant setup time.
