A NY Yankees baseball game is coming in pretty clear tonite at 7330 kHz, 0020 UTC. Does anyone know where this comes from? I tried googling it, but couldn’t find it.

I am not sure but you might be off on your tuning by 5 Khz.
I am showing R. MARTI USA 🇺🇸 on 7335 Khz at that time slot.
This is normal to be off because that station is so strong.

Some of the better radios have a narrow filter that will
help you tune to the exact frequency better and also prevent bleed over from other station that are close to each other on the band.

Thank you, that must be why I wasn’t finding anything online, because if must have been 7335. It was just coming in better at the time at 7330 kHz.

Baseball again tonite on R. Marti with a strong signal. 0025 UTC. That must be a powerful station. Do they transmit from South Carolina?

Being off by 5 Khz when tuning a shortwave station is so common that the Shortwave Info web site has a 5 Khz offset
check box at the top of there web page which can help
with tuning and station searches.

Thank you. It was coming in better 5 kHz off that night so I didn’t realize I was on Radio Marti. I’m not a Yankees fan, but the Spanish broadcasts are fun to hear.
