Well, it not much of a mobile shack, but this is what I got so far.
This was my first attempt building a communications center, and I think it turned out not half bad. The vehicle is a 1994 Chevy S-10 sigle cab pickup.

The first item is a RS Pro-92 scanner used for when I am passing through the Tulsa, OK area.

The second item is an RS Pro-2026 that I use for conventional system scanning.

The third item is a Uniden PC68XL that is hooked to 5' steel whip antenna.

Both scanners will be upgraded soon both to uniden digital scanners, but those are at leasta couple of months away. Also will be getting my HAM radio lincense and will be adding a HAM radio to the mix.

I welcome any feedback that you might have.

Pics

Your pics are not coming through. I refreshed the screen twice.

All I get is the small white box with the red X.

Thanks and take care,
Julian

Ham License

As a radio enthusiast, a Ham license will be an asset and a pleasure to your hobby. It has opened many doors for thousands of people all over the world. I can't say enough, just do it.

All of the license pools are published and there are free practice exams available on the web. The Tech is 35 questions of mostly common sense stuff.

Check with the ARRL or your local club for exam sessions and QRZ.com for free online practice tests.

You'll be glad you did.
