yes 155.565 is the main police dispatch frequency and the fire frequency is the same when I program 158.8500 I hear the input to hq but don't hear hq I was listening to them at my sisters over the weekend and it was driving me crazy they would say go to 14 but I checked fcc database and these are the only frequencies for the police listed maybe I should check a surrounding area or maybe they are using one of the state frequencies like the 155.4900 or something I enjoy listening to them when I am out there but enjoy okc as well just wish they was not going to go to provoice

JUST A THOOUGHT CB CHANNEL 14??

Or it could be FRS. But what it usually means is the radio's channel 14, which could be anything, depending on how the radios are programmed. When Payne Cty SO bought new radios a year or two ago, the deputies kept having to ask which channel was which agency, as the programming of the new radios didn't match the old ones. Apparently most of the deputies took the new channel list provided to them and filed it away (in the circular?). "4XX to county, what button is Drumright?" "4XX to 4XX, you know if we've still got Lincoln County in these radios? Yeah, but I don't know which channel it is, ask Bill." etc, etc, etc.
