Is there anbody here that has a 396, that uses the fire tone out feature, if so how useful is it.

I have never used it because I seem to recieve all tones just fine without it. You might try posting the same question in the Uniden forum??
I did post up in the uniden forum, but nothing as of yet. You may be right, after reading up on it a bit, it maybe a useless thing to have enabled.
