APX APX R32 SW

I was told that there is an issue in R31 of the APX software that caused loops on some radios and not to use it, but use R32.xx.xx. I checked MOL and the latest version is R31.00.01 from August 2023. (There are older versions back to R23.xx.xx as well.)

Is there an R32.xx.xx and perhaps it just isn't showing on my MOL account?

(Edit) After reading the release notes apparently the ".01" version fixed the loop issue, perhaps the source saying there was an R32 version was wrong.

R32 has the fix, not R31. They claimed to have fixed it in a later version of R31, that proved false.

Anyway, you need to use MyView to download the latest CPW/FW, not MOL, which is being slowly done away with.

By the way, it's not the "software" that causes the issue, it's the firmware. If you're concerned about it, go to MyView and download both CPS R32.00.00 as well as FW R32.03.00 and upgrade the radio.

I do not think the others here understand your question entirely... I think you are confused because when you look on MOL, the latest version you see available for download is 31. You need to go to MyView, which has 32... for some reason I was only able to find 32 on MyView and not whatever other page has your list of entitlements and subscriptions. I hope this helps.

MOL is deprecated and MyView and the new Customer Portal are the path forward. If it's not on MyView, check the subscription box and see if you have it added, if not, open a case and get customer support to add it.

Yes, that is exactly as GTR8000 indicated. The Chief has been advised. It was still MOL when I retired and the account was still under my former work email. It is up to them for now.
