We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. Looking for some help. I burned out 5 old laptops since 2012 uploading a feed and decided to go the Barix Instreamer route. There is mention from Barix that the Instreamer CAN upload metadata / alpha tags (...similar to an internet radio station showing title/track/artist names during a song.). Problem is that the info is vague/non-existant in regards to connecting to a scanner radio. Anyone have an idea how to 'physically connect' a Pro-106 to Barix for metadata AND, Barix settings for this? Is this even possible without a computer in the mix? I wish I was 12 y.o. again!
