I use the arc15 and recently sorted my channel lists by hitting the freq tab on the top of my lists and that sorted them out from lowest to highest freq. Another click will switch them high to low. I then sent them back to the bct15 and wow!! All of a sudden more hits!! My idtracker II confirms this (OBTW get the newest version). It's as if the scanner likes it to scan a decending or assending list instead of jumping around. Of course if your listening preference is to jump around then by all means continue with your current list but I listen to VHF air and I have seen/heard improvement. I doubt this will matter with a trunked system as it goes against the system design. Let me know if this works for you. Don.
