DFD and EMS people are getting attacked by a "large" swarm of yellow jackets..a couple of civilians and fire people are being taken to DG due to stings...Animal control so far is not coming out.

So for action on Fire ground 3

The fire fighter who was transported had 20+ yellow jacket bites..

A few years back my daughter said she heard noises coming from the wall above her closet. Sure enough, if you put your ear on the wall you could hear a "chewing sound"

I went into the attic and there was a paper nest like a tube leading from the wall to a small hole under the eaves where a AC condensate line used to go thru. I had a friend of mine that killed bugs for a living look at it and he said it was a big yellow jacket nest probably filling the whole wall cavity. He gave me 2 cans of stuff you could spray from about 10 feet away and said not to mess with them until about midnite or after it cooled down.
To make a long story short, I went up about 11:00 and sprayed (soaked) the exposed paper tube while my son went outside and sprayed into the hole. Nothing much happened for about 2 minutes then all hell broke loose. that paper tube started vibrating and a few wasps came out & I ran towards the attic scuttle hole, (Its not easy to run in an attic) Literally hundreds of them came out outside and in the attic. We had to vacate the whole house until noon the next day. My friend came back & sprayed some other stuff thru a 1/8" hole into the wall cavity & got the rest of them. We still find bodies from time to time--
