Good question. I only know of 4 BLM freqs:
166.375 Admin
166.4875 Fire
166.750 Law
167.950 Air to Ground
Also try the trunked system.

yes, I had the freq for South EMS but it is quiet.

Both the BLM and Forest Service have been allocated new frequencies for air to ground. 167.950 is no longer the "universal" air to ground frequency that it once was.
The California BLM database page shows some frequencies for the Imperial Dunes area under a mistaken listing header of "El Centro District." I have not verified those frequencies or channels. I should make a database submission to change the header as El Centro is a field office of the California Desert District.
Nice catch on the close call. The last three frequencies, what is your source? The law net is most likely used by the Forest Service as 168.025 is assigned to them. Is there any interagency use of this frequency? I don't get around as much as I once did so I don't always know the current status of some frequency use.

Thanks on the catch... Source was a uniden 346xl handheld with a good VHF antenna.
10-4 on the law net... I remember you clarified that on another topic " usfs of so cal. "
When I was in the dunes I did not hear interop except on calcord . IMO. Co. Sheriff is on RCS... Along with San Diego S.O. .
When I spent time there there was the following agencies:
Chp el centro, traffic enforcement and accident reports.
forest service
BLM
Imperial co. Sheriff
San Diego Sheriff
Ambulance co?
Life flight
Mercy air
Astrea( air support to regional law enforcement). Based in San Diego...maybe a local there can confirm the helo air base.

been hearing alot of accidents in Superstition Mtn, Ocotillo Wells and Glamis.
also Goldcross, Reach Air, Imperial County Fire and Cal Fire.

Great help...
Surcom is cal st parks and rec. there are 4 plus repeaters so freq. is really clear. Did you hear reach on the VHF 155.xxx freq. or on RCS ?

Blm is running subjects on the admin freq. pl 103.5 tonight while Blm law freq. is running subjects in Glamis...since this is a big riding weekend.
