Is anyone here able to transmit through the Colorado Connection repeater in Breckenridge with 5 watts? Nobody in my local ARES group can.

I personally tried from all through Blue River, the Peak 7 area, Tiger Rd., and Boreas/Baldy Rds.

One of the other ARES members is able open it from near the Lake Dillon dam but he is using 200 watts.

I could never get it to come back from the north end of town on 5 watts so I just gave up on it. It's been labeled on their site as "Intermittent" for years. My guess is that the receiver on the repeater probably has an issue.

Yes, the website has not been updated since 2008. The new Breckenridge Colorado Connection is 147.390+ 123 as of this past summer. Others in my ARES group can get in but not with 5 watts. I am guessing that it just takes more power to open it.
