Thought some of you OKC hams could maybe help out.......


Oklahoma City-County Health Department will conduct two drive-through Flu Vaccination Clinics on November 14, 2006. To accomplish this we need Medical Reserve Corps volunteers in several areas.

Nurses (40) to give vaccinations

Mental Health (13)

Clerical (23) to help with registration, recording, communications, and other clerical tasks

Logistical support (54) to help with numerous logistics tasks such as supply/resupply, traffic control, couriers, etc.

Communications technicians (6) with Amateur radio licenses and experience

Hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The sites are located at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds and Frontier City. Volunteers are asked to begin arrivivg at the Fairgrounds for processing through Staging at 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. and be assigned to either the Fairgrounds or Frontier City site.
