• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

The LCN is the Logical Channel Numbering ( I belive they call it that) When you got your freqs. they should be in a specific order. They MUST be programed in the order you recieved them. I checked Seminole Fl. I found Florida Power& Light. If you look at the EDACS freqs. they all have a small number in front of them01 937.97500 02 938.96250 03 938.97500 That is the order you program them called the LCN. Don't change them in numerical order.

True, when manually programming a BCD996T right after you enter the frequency you're then prompted for the LCN, which is 01 through xx (however many there are for the system being programmed). The BCD396T is the same.
