I can only thank you all again for your help.
I'm not lazy when it comes to researching and learning; my biggest issue is the language. Despite having translators, it doesn't always work as it should. ;)

Well, you did an excellent job. I recognize when language could be a barrier, but you seemed to have overcome that extremely well. And you went and took the time to search for / write down all the frequencies for the sites (which can take some time depending how busy or non-busy each site is). So you did the majority of work yourself and handed us everything that was needed for @cg to figure out if a bandplan was being used (and it was). So you deserve a pat on the back for your efforts !

Hello, everyone.
I have a question again.
While monitoring this control channel, I noticed that it "stop" when the channel accesses Ch 4.
Three questions:
What does "Rest" mean in the Target?
Why does it freeze?
What do I do to fix it?

Below is a snippet from my DSDPlus.frequencies file.

TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 1151, 397.175, 0.0, 0 ; CONTROL CHANNEL

You are getting a separate Cap+ system on that frequency.
It looks like FMP24 is allowing a strong Cap+ signal to pull the tuning onto an adjacent channel. You need to hit the "a" key and then adjust the PPM with the "p/P" key.
The other way is to add the DCC to the .frequencies file for that site
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 1151, 397.175, 0.0, 0, 5 ; CONTROL CHANNEL <------ see where the , 5 ; is? That is the site color code. Do this to each freq in the site

It didn't work. At some point when the system switches to Ch4 (rest), it stops following the channels and stays only on the frequency as shown in the image.
By the way, is the configuration in the second image correct?

Do you have a Cap+ system in the Frequencies file with that same frequency? If so, put a semicolon in front of each of the frequencies in that system. Something is hijacking the TierIII. You could be getting an adjacent channel and that is sending FMP24 to the wrong system
You still have the frequency drift showing on the FMP24 window. You use the p/P key to bring the correction up or down. You can shut to auto correction off by hitting the "a" key

This is what the frequencies should look like. The channel 3 removed and the Color Code added to each line.

TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 1151, 397.175, 0.0, 0, 5 ; CONTROL CHANNEL

There are no Cap+ frequencies in the file.

It's not a frequency deviation issue because there is no adjacent channel. The screenshot I took shows exactly the frequency that the system itself forwards, Channel 4, which I calculated using the "DMR_TIII_LxN_Freq_calc_1.5.0.5" program.
My initial list didn't have Channel 4, and that's where this forwarding issue first occurred. So, I decided to add it to the list to see if it would fix the problem, but it didn't work.

This is what the frequencies should look like. The channel 3 removed and the Color Code added to each line.

TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 1151, 397.175, 0.0, 0, 5 ; CONTROL CHANNEL
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 719, 394.475, 0.0, 0, 5
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 975, 396.075, 0.0, 0, 5
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 855, 395.325, 0.0, 0, 5
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 1067, 396.65, 0.0, 0, 5
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 1091, 396.8, 0.0, 0, 5
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 1244, 397.75, 0.0, 0, 5 ; DATA
I had already inserted the color code, as shown below; now, I just added ";" to the Channel 4 line, as you recommended.

TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 1151, 397.175, 0.0, 0, 5 ; CONTROL CHANNEL
;TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 3, 390, 0.0, 0, 5
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 719, 394.475, 0.0, 0, 5
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 855, 395.325, 0.0, 0, 5
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 975, 396.075, 0.0, 0, 5
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 1067, 396.65, 0.0, 0, 5
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 1091, 396.8, 0.0, 0, 5
TIIInonStd, L1, 3, 1244, 397.75, 0.0, 0, 5 ; DATA

And the issue persists. After some time of operation, it switches to Channel 3 and halts the process.

I don't think channel 3 in your files even belongs. The ch 4 is a DMR CAP+ Rest Channel. If it were me, I'd remove any reference to channel 3 or channel 4. Then I'd restart DSDPlus and watch the channel activity window to see if it ever tries to steer anything to ch 4 again. I don't think 390.000 has anything to do with your L1-3 site. That 390.0 freq looks like it is significantly lower in signal strength than some of the other L1-3 channels that you've shown as well.

And also the control channel will likely never steer any traffic to ch 1244 (data channel). That's likely a dedicated data channel that is separate from the trunking. Not totally separate, but not likely to ever see any voice on it because it's a data channel . Doesn't hurt to have it in your lineup, but DSDPlus will likely never be directed to tune to it. The data on it (perhaps GPS, etc) would likely have to be gathered using a separate dongle / instance of DSDPlus in a different directory. Of course the data on the data channel may also be data that DSDPlus can't decode as well -- which would make it useless to monitor.

On my local CAPMAX system, on the dedicated data channels I never see any information relating to the typical users on the system -- it only appears to be active when the radio shops own radios (which have GPS enabled) are transmitting lat/long stuff.

Anyway, I think channel 3 (which you probably calculated) is not part of the system but rather is LCN 2 (LSN 3/4) of a CAP+ site.

I did what you said, removed the channels and data. I restarted FMP24 and 1R.bat, and it froze again.

Look in the black "DOS" or "command" window on the left. You'll see at the bottom that it switches from a CAPMAX system to a CAP+ system. What frequency was it on when it froze? And maybe, if you enable CTRL -- Hunt For Lost Control Channels, it may try and find the control channel again afterwards.

Apparently you have a CAP+ site on the same frequency as one of the L1-3 frequencies. Not sure how you are going to get around that.

So enable the Hunt for Lost Control Channels, and then pay close attention to what frequency it is on when it locks up, when it starts displaying CAP+ stuff in the DOS window.

It looks like the channel that might have both a CAPMAX signal and a CAP+ signal on it might be ch 856 -- 395.325

Enabling the "Hunt for Lost Control Channels" makes it switch to another site when signal loss is detected.
It doesn't solve the problem because I stop hearing the control channel 397.175, but at least it doesn't stay idle.

Below, highlighted in red, is the capture of the moment when this happens

I believe I won't have much listening on this channel due to this issue, but there are still six other control channels left to monitor. :)

I appreciate the effort in trying to help me.

The DCC feature appears to not be working with that setup. The Cap+ DCC2 should be ignored and DSDPlus should return to the control channel.

As I reported in another thread, RAS appears to disrupt the DCC functionality.
