Since they are rebanding in Ulster, I have encountered a few not too many tags that on my chart dont exist. looked on NF2G not there either. Sams point has a 5 decimal id tag
Illinois had 1 or 2 tags on it too. where would one find an updated list since the reband?

Are you hearing traffic on these talkgroups (I assume that's what you mean by "tags"), or just catching them in a software log? If the latter, then they are probably errors.

AFS ID Tags

Dave look at poughkeepsie PD AFS Numbers, i have all the PD typed in for that tower, but I get 01-100 (not on your List) . 01-100 sounds like a dispatch. Same for Sam's point but a 5 digit Decimal tag.

I'm catching them with my 396 on ID Search mode, Which i hope to goto ID Scan mode once i get all the PD and FD's typed in.
hoping to get all of them with in a 35-40 mile radious of my home in woodstock ny

Lid

Depending on what brand and model radio you are searching with you may be finding a LID. They are used often on the Illinois Twr. An example would be when HQ's wants to talk with a single unit without all the other units hearing.

5 digit tag id

here is what i got off of the Illinois tower 00224,00866,00758. These are displayed exactly as typed, no dashes no nothing....exactly as you see it now for all 3 individually

LID = logical ID, the individual identifier for each radio on the system. LID's are used for private calls between one radio and another. In effect they form a temporary talkgroup that is deleted once the conversation is over. The three numbers you posted are all assigned to radios in the city public works department. They do use private calls (I-calls) extensively. Evidently you have this feature turned on for ID Search.

01-100 is in the public works group for the town of Pok. I have never logged this particular ID and it may be an error either in the radio decoding it or you may have transcribed it wrong. I monitor Illinois often enough that it should be in the log if it was active.

Alamo is on many LTR systems throughout the tri-county area.
