Ifd medic 4 dispatch 12-31-2010

Did anyone hear the dispatch on IFD- Fire North about Medic 4? I heard somthing at the end about God speed and that it will be serving another district.Heard MEDIC 6 responding with Engine 4 on a run today 1-1-2011.Where is Medic 4? has it been taken out of service from Station 4 at 8401 N. Ditch Road.Has Medic 4 been sold to another Fire Department? Maybe it's moving to the NE side with the Lawrence Twp merger taking place last night at midnight....just a guess.

Medic 4 has been moved to Station 61. The contract with Rural Metro for Perry Twp. has been terminated as of 11:59 p.m. 12/31/10.

Thanks Bodyguardone for the answer.Does this mean that The Old Perry Twp fire (now IFD )will have there own medic and will re-numbered from Medic 4 to Medic 61.Will IFD still use Rural Metro as a Private Medic when Medic 61 is not availble???

Medic 61 is now in service at Station 61.Heard the medic being dispatched on a call over the weekend.I checked with Rural Metro and The Operations Officer said that they will be a backup for Medic 61 as a Priviate Medic when Medic 61 is on a run.
