No FCC label on the back, nothing on the FCC OET Authorization website for this year.
With a Google search for that model, the only other reference I found is from a Uniden 125 software webpage from Butel.
Nothing there for bcd260dn however, the cached version from 7/19/23 shows "bcd260dn bcd160dn" at the bottom under Keywords.

My guess is that the BCD160DN is a new portable version.

Someone from Uniden hinted about 2 new scanners a couple of months ago on this forum.

I may be incorrect, but I seem to remember Uniden requests to have authorizations withheld from the website until they approve it. So it not showing up on the FCC OET website may not mean anything.

Of course I could be completely wrong.

A really weird design. We had a few installed in supervisors vehicles and they were just okay.
I actually owned an original Bearcat 260. It was made by Electra and by Uniden as it was introduced in 1983 right when the conversion or sale happened. It was a great design but the reception and sensitivity was awful.

Maybe when Uniden started making them they worked better, great design but believe it or not it had a very loud hum that increased when you turned the display brighter, to get rid of the hum you had to turn the display all the way down so you couldn't see it.

Again I had one of the first ones and it was made by Electra in 1983. It was also one of those Electra Bearcats that was not made in Cumberland, Indiana it was made in Puerto Rico.

This new 260 looks interesting but if it doesn't handle simulcast well then what's the point?

If Universal Radio was still in business I'm sure they would already have all of the details/specs of the brand-new Uniden BCD260DN posted on their website and would be taking pre-orders with FREE shipping included! They were certainly on top of their game when it came to the release of any new models of radios/scanners or other related equipment.

If you recall, back in early 2018 Universal Radio let the cat out of the bag prematurely regarding the upcoming release of the SDS100 handheld. Uniden "blew a gasket" when they found out about it but there was nothing they could do because the horse had already left the barn! LOL
