Bud,

Thanks for both.

The TG 49504 is already in the database. It is station alerting for Wooster FD.

Identifying the First Energy talkgroups is pretty hard. I had a weeks worth of audio from the three towers covering Summit. I never had enough to identify anything. I was using the existing First Energy system as a sort of guide for what the new talkgroups could be.

TG 54760

I've got a question about talkgroup 54760.

It is currently listed as Ashland County SO. A submission exists that this should be Huron County SO. The submitter noted radios of 39xxxxx and unit numbers matching Huron SO. I do see that the talkgroup number is in line with where Ashland SO *might* line up.

I'm not close enough to either county to hear anything.

Can someone closer monitor and confirm which county SO is 54760?

Heard traffic this morning on 53729 with a 96xxxx radio ID. The 2 units were in the area of Drug Mart on Abbe Rd. in Elyria. The conversation was some joking about a microwave tower.

Heard call to Hillsdale High school, google it and its in Ashland Co, so 54760 should be Ashland SO,

That was my bad thinking it was Huron County based on the unit IDs ... I didn't realize the unit IDs truncate the leading zero on the HP 1 , so what I thought as 39, Huron was actually 03 Ashland , the zero not displayed. fpo701 set me straight 😀

TG13527 Cuyahoga Site

On my scanner I saw the following, TG13527 with a RID of 1893377 from the Cuyahoga Site. I was just walking into the room and didn't catch any audio.

Has anyone ID'd this TG? I didn't see it listed in my last MARCS-IP TG download.

Sounded like RTA PD, that same RID has been used with TG 13543 also.

RTA PD TG's?

Mike,

Thanks for the report.

To recap. This morning I saw TG13527 with a RID of 1893377.
This afternoon I monitored RTA PD Dispatch TG13511 with a RID 1893378.
Your report of monitoring RTA PD on TG13543 with a of RID 1893377.

So it looks like RTA may have two additional TG's.
13511 RTA PD Dispatch (confirmed, been in the DB for a while)
13527 RTA PD TAC or TALK? (not listed in the DB)
13543 RTA PD TAC or TALK? (not listed in the DB)

I'm going put both 13527 and 13543 in my scanners as RTA PD? with Alerts set. Hopefully I'll capture enough traffic to help make a determination. Please keep me posted on what you monitor.

Wondering if 13527 was patch, only RID was 1893377 had about 100 hits. Checked my RID DB found older 13527 hit with 1890506, 1893345 both are RTA PD RIDS.

Rid's 3290637 3290623 3290887 3290628 3290695

Sounds like Odot chatter.
( received during freezing rain event )
Talking about hitting stop signs , roads slushing up , and different road routes and road temps.

Gathering the information from :
http://siec.ohio.gov/Portals/0/pdf/7xRadioIDSOP.pdf

I'm assuming its Hancock Co Odot - Findlay outpost
Since the database already has TG 53253 as D01-HAN Hancock County Operations

ODOT is a state agency -- would be using one of the ODOT 53xxx talkgroups, and would have radio IDs beginning with 9xxxxxx

So that rules out ODOT.

Probably Hancock Co Engineer / road crews. Talkgroup is a HC talkgroup, radio IDs are HC radio IDs. So figure it to be a HC agency.

I suspect anyone using 22049 would be a City of Findlay unit. Everything that I've ever heard on any 22xxx is City of Findlay. <Police is encrypted so they can't be verified>

Mike is correct ODOT would have a 93xxxxx ID. Plus all ODOT Talkgroups are in the DB, there are not any that are unknown.
