Dude you are killing it. Keep up the good work.

You should create a google DOC spreadsheet that can be viewed or edited to track all of these.

I might do that this weekend if I have some free time. I need to “sanitize” it first since I put some sensitive tac talkgroups in there.

Fyi if 17530 is figured out it WILL go encrypted because it is supposed to be fully strapped. Please do not share that one.

17530 is I believe Gahanna pd detective section. Radio ids match with dispatch for gahanna pd. Also 6535 is ashtabula county drug task force. T.a.g. drug task force. 19631 is I believe Geauga county sheriff drug task force. 58264 is tcsu drug task force montgomery county. I also been told by a confidential source that vhf body wires are still in use. This info is old info. Known by several groups of people. Lot more info coming

I only share what I don’t know. If it’s sensitive (surveillance/SWAT/EOD), I don’t put it on the forum. And I don’t submit anything if it’s been confirmed as sensitive.

If it’s already encrypted, I will usually post since it makes no difference.

Just want to add that @OHP761 is not wrong in his statements. I've heard the same sentiments probably more that neither of us would say publicly. Take that from someone who has more than a few posts. You don't have to post to read the comments. Yes DAS folks are in the forums, they do read the posts, they do talk about it. When I mentioned I was active in RR while talking to them, the conversation changed instantly and I had to vow to keep a line between my career and my hobby. As much as the information feeds the hobby, it also feeds those who are deranged enough to cause trouble and have.

I'm almost certain that one's EMS61DISP, but I haven't been able to confirm for sure yet, although I do know it's Noble County because I've heard them marking the dispatcher as Noble which is also what the SO calls them.

I would definitely trim down the logging on the conversations here, and unit numbers, yes its free and open but its riding a thin line

I've stopped quoting conversations unless it's pretty vague (such as the one in my last post). I usually don't include unit numbers for LE, but will start abbreviating them. The numbers for FD are more important to list because they help identify what the department/station is.

I know there's concern about divulging too much info, but I really am limiting most of this to bare bones. I'm not ignorant about the users behind the radios.
