while just doing a search on my BCD996XT it stopped on 771.3312, which is already programmed with ARC XT from RR but it wont pick it up, i program it into an analog channel and it picks it up just fine, any suggestions?

I heard that, but I just realized I don't have ID search on for IP. I just revised mine. It is in the Database as of the 28th and I missed it.

Are you scanning the MARCS-ip system? The Zaneville, Dresden and Duncan Falls (blue rock) sites are up and running. What sites do you have programmed?

Well here is what i have done, first i used the RR database with the ARC XT software selected Muskingum County, Coshocton County and the Dresden, conesville sites from the MARCS IP list, I recieved Coshocton S.O. just fine, havent heard anything out of Muskingum . decided to just do a custom search, i just put in 771-771mhz and did just a normal search on my scanner and it stopped on the dresden site 771.3312, which is close to me and i heard the S. O. I entered it into the scanner as i would with a normal VHF/UHF frequency and it works, doesnt show UID or anything. So am i programming the site wrong? is it wrong on RR? Do i need to change the Mot bandplan to rebanded or just leave it on standard 800/900? very confused.

No - it does not work the same as conventional VHF.

Easiest is to let the software download it, the delete any site you don't want/

What Scanner / software? If using ARC I know how, other wise I'm no help.
It should down load it -

Heard 17012 on the Columbus tower this morning. In the database, there is an entry for Washington Courthouse PD using 17011 as a TAC channel, so perhaps it's related. All I heard was "out at the firehouse".

My brother in Licking Co called me this evening and told me he heard "Chief 961 calling 904 on FD45DISP", and the talkgroup was 28504.

54723 - Newark PD doing radio checks, but there has also been a Pike County EMS unit. They all have 950xxxx IDs. Another DAS demonstration talkgroup?

Also animal control in Licking County, still using 95 IDs.

So is Licking County/PD/SO/Fire going to new MARCS or old MARCS then?

Licking SO, Newark Granville Monroe Hartford Madison & West Licking FDs are going to MARCS IP which is suppose to start on May 4. We have 800 MARCS available if we get out of the IP area or there is a response with aid coming in that doesn't have IP MARCS.

I thought I heard Newark PD doing some IP testing but don't know their status.

I may be wrong, but I didn't think any new users were being added to MARCS, all new users going to IP.

Coshocton is a good example - several new sites just to get coverage.

New users have the ability to use old MARCS until that system goes away next year, but their primary is MARCS-IP.
