When I looked them up, it said that they maintain a detachment at Homestead. Whether that's already occupied with air defense or whether they might com here, I dunno.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken's government aircraft, the modified Boeing 737 Blinken uses, suffered a 'mechanical issues' on his trip to Europe for NATO meetings, forcing an unexpected road trip and a delay. I believe this is the second time this year his plane had issues.

The mechanical issue revealed by the State Department forced Blinken's delegation to travel to Bussels by bus. He previously had to deal with a maintenance issue in Davos.
Seems lately the Blue Angels and T-Birds are starting to demand more and more extras and assistance for their Airshow participation.

Now that they aren't charging a fee for performances, they are turning to the air shows to provide some of what that fee used to pay for.

Thanks for the info Rene. I was able to catch some of this on recordings this morning.
1115z 308.000 MMF26 & MMF27 A-A on their climb out from Bangor (KBGR) discussing altitudes, speed, and radio freqs for ATC.
1206z 235.950 NAF 322, 334, 335 (only numbers I heard), A-A as they climb up to meet the tankers.
1207z 299.600 MMF26, MMF27 & NAF 332 flight on boom freq coordinating the join of the fighters to the tankers as they head out of Bangor.

This is a new callsign. They were using Forge about a month ago.
Not that new. Logged ZIPPO callsign for them back in January.. FORGE is Army Pax transport callsign normally.

Both now airborne. Since both are using a "REACH" callsign, I'm not positive that they'll actually be dragging the Raptors on this flight. Most times it will be a mission specific callsign for events like these. Maybe just repositioning to bring the F-22s later on? Tankers are currently headed north up the gulf coast of Florida.
