SDS100/SDS200: Missing calls on SDS100

I have an old bearcat scanner next to my sds100. The old bearcat is getting all my tone outs but the sds100 is acting like it’s not scanning quick enough and missing calls. I don’t have many channels in my favorites list. Is there a way to speed up scanning on the SDS100 or is there a setting that I’m missing. Thank you.

check the squelch setting ?

from the manual
INITIAL SETTINGS (VOLUME AND SQUELCH)
1. Turn on the scanner by pressing and holding for about 2 seconds.
2. Tap scroll to display the volume level. Turn scroll (within 3 seconds) to adjust the volume.
3. Tap scroll again to close the volume level (or let it disappear after 10 seconds).
4. Press Func then tap scroll to display the squelch level. Usually, a setting of 2-5 works best for squelch

i was missing stuff too. for me it was having all the National stuff turned on. Much better now with all of that off. I have an active thread just below this one detailing what I did.
