Still a work in progress but it's getting close.

I commute a lot and this is how I try to stay sane. The Kenwood and the Uniden each have their own speaker. The iPod is in the glove box. The Alpine also has an aux-in (grey cable coming out of the hole) which I can run any of the devices through the main stereo system. I run the Treo through it for meetings with work while on the road.

Uniden BCT-15
Kenwood D700
Magellen 22007
Alpine CDA-9856
Apple iPod
Palm Treo 650
Troy Products console
Radio Shack speakers (can't recall the model)

NICE!

Are you powering the system off the fuse block or from an accessory port (aka cigarette lighter) triplex...extender...extender etc. Looks very efficient and sanitary.

Thanks, guys!

The truck is a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
I am running the power through the firewall from the battery.

I bought the console online from http://www.troyproducts.com/products/benchseat.htm
They make faceplates to fit just about any radio. The unit you see has 5 spaces. I used 2 each for the radios and one blank between them to help with heat.

Do you have the iPod cable running from the glove comp. to the back of the Alpine? I thought there was only one Aux output on that radio??

Yes. It has a dedicated iPod connection and an additional aux.

I am sad to say but my antenna situation is pretty poor right now. I have 2 mag mount antennas sitting in the bed of the truck. I am running wire into the back doors, under the bench and into the console. I could post a pic but I would only serve to embarrass myself :)

I have to say I had my doubts at first but I love it! I found it at Costco for a couple hundred and I haven't regretted it for a second. I now boldy go where this lost man has never gone before. One cool thing is that when it senses that I have slowed down while on the freeway (such as a traffic jam) it will flash an option to re-route a detour for me. It has worked without a flaw.

My aux output must be taken by the XM Radio??

Ahh yes I think that's it. I'm not running sat radio through the Alpine yet. I seem to recall I would lose the aux if I did.
