Does anyone know how to get the new Essex police frequencies on Project 25 Phase II on to the BCDx36HP with the Sentinel softer. Its very vague, it says they are on this system and when I click the link many frequencies come up wo the mention of Essex.

I was hoping to cut and paste into Sentinel software AS THE Sentinel Software has not updated to reflect Essex's new system unless I am misunderstanding something.

As far as I know, CSP Troop F Westbrook dispatches the Essex PD and also the resident trooper. If you program talkgroups 251 & 253 that should help.
Other frequencies to program in the conventional FM mode are 45.860 police hotline, 46.180, 453.3875, 453.2625 fire, 155.400 medics, 155.385 lifestar.

like @imonitorit said, Essex is on the CSP under Troop F as of now.

See here:

Make sure you have the latest Firmware for your scanner.

I have logged 8 Mobiles in use.

I have logged 8 Mobiles in use.

I did some research and thought they would be under Valley Shore

But I wouldn't know how to program them in if they are under Valley Shore. Right now I can just import from Sentinel.

Essex does have their own Police Dispatch I believe until 10pm then after that, you need to call the state police for any issues.

The scanner is upgraded with latest firmware.

The Essex units use Troop F.

Look for UID's in the Format 50XXXX

501XXX are the cars

504XXX are the portables.

(50 is the Tax Code for ESSEX)

Well after a new update of the software DB, I see CLMRN but still cant find 501XXX or 500XXX
All I see are 4 digit TGID numbers, there are a lot of folder and tree structures and I just cant find the 6 digit 50XXXX numbers yet.

I see 251 and 253 for troop F

But thanks for getting us this far though.I definitely appreciate the help.

I dont know what Itinerant is either as there is CLMRN under that folder

As long as you write it to the scanner if you do it in Sentinel
OK I see also an option to enable it in the software but once the data is xfered then you can cycle thru and see the UNIT ID' ?

There is no option to see the Unit ID's in Sentinel? Like this

What small section of the vast CLMRN folder should we put into a favorites list to test.

You have to enter them in one at a time yourself in the software (or the radio). There is no RadioReference download for UIDs.

TY. So you have to listen and then take notes.

Also, I take it that Essex, CT is on talk group 251 and 253 that is Troop F. So we only need to program in those two talk groups to hear Essex police ?

Yes
Obviously you will hear all of Troop F coverage area but the Essex cars monitor TG 251 for calls.
