OASIS Unidentified Talkgroup Thread

Going through PRO96COM logs on both the Waukesha County and Milwaukee County sites from the past few days.

TGID 4351 showed up, affiliated with RID 7632176. Non-encrypted.

I don't see any defined agency for 76xxxxx series RID's for the standard Wisconsin RID plan, but suspect either unknown state agency, federal agency or NGO.

Any ideas?

2032 looks like Milwaukee County siren control.

That's interesting. Did they stop using 453.375mhz for siren control? That was also a good one to have for weather alerts.

Once TGID 2032 became active, the uhf frequency of 453.375 became quiet. I confirmed this the past couple months when the county would test their warning sirens on the third Wednesday of the month.

I have been running Uni-Trunker on Both OASIS sites (Waukesha & Milwaukee Counties) and I have not seen either Tg 4351 or Radio ID 7632176 in any of my logs.

There has been a new user on the system in the last few weeks. TGs 3700 and 3714 have been in use, entirely encrypted unfortunately. In fact, TG 3700 is in use tonight. The Radio IDs are in the 9010xxx range so some sort of Fed Government entity I suspect.

I would think federal agencies are probably going to have talkgroups on the system for the upcoming RNC convention being held in Milwaukee this summer but that's just a guess

You would be correct on it being the feds, anything 90xxxxx and up is all federal. On WISCOM there are a few fully encrypted federal TG's with no usable descriptors, so it doesn't surprise me that the same is seen on OASIS.
