WESTMINSTER - Two people have been taken into custody following an overnight police chase Thursday which sent authorities through several jurisdictions.
The Colorado State Patrol says the chase started on the Boulder Turnpike in Boulder County at around 3:10 a.m. when a trooper tried to pull over a vehicle that was weaving around traffic.
Troopers say at one point during the pursuit the vehicle rammed into a CSP patrol car.
After winding through about five jurisdictions the chase finally ended at 97th and Lowell in Westminster at 4 a.m.
A man and a woman were arrested but details about their identity or possible injuries were not immediately available.
Officials from Boulder County, Lafayette, Northglenn, Thornton, Westminster and the Colorado State Patrol responded.
