Hi all! Bought a "528' on "black friday".Just opened package today. I am attempting to program a LTR standard system for Fire/EMS for Brunswick Co. NC. When I input the
three(3) frequencies for site #12-Sunset Beach, the 528 will only accept :156.240 (ch#1),when I try to program 155.96250, the display reads 155.960, 154.34750 displays 154.350. Specs for the PRO-528 indicated that it was capable of receiving /monitoring LTR systems. AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?

The freqs. MUST be in the correct channels. In your case, if you use Bank 1, you need to put 156.24 in channel 1. 155.9625 goes into channel 3. 154.3475 goes into channel 20.
The scanner may round off the freqs., but you should still hear them.
I put those freqs. into my PRO-528 as an LTR system and it searched OK.

We have a Yahoo group for the PRO-528 and PRo-433. It has a trunking explanation and step by step programming instructions in the group's FILES section.

Dick H: thanks for your help. I did have the freqs entered in the correct channels. I just became confused when they rounded off. I did take your suggestion and joined the Yahoo group.

If you joined our group, why can't I find 52to12 in the MEMBERS list?
