Pro 82 AC adaptor question

Can anyone please tell me whether or not I can use a 600mA current adaptor for my Pro-82 radio whereas the manual says.."use a power source that supplies 9vDC at LEAST 300 mA". I guess the question is will a 600mA current fry my radio or do any damage? Sure appreciate the response.....

As long as the 9VDC and the polarity is right you will be fine--The radio will only draw the current it requires
