I have a new Pro97, and bought a set of AA Duracell 2500 mAh (Ni-MH) batteries for it. ($13 for 4 batteries... ouch!) The Pro97 manual says that is has a "built in charging circuit" that works with either Ni-MH or Ni-CD, and does NOT say anything about overcharging. As long as I use the yellow battery holder, which is for rechargables, and visually inspect the batteries occasionally for damage, should I be worried about overcharging? I'd like to just leave it plugged in while it's on my desk, and keep it fully charged.
