"All channels Locked out" indicates:

A - There are no frequencies programed into the scanner.
B - There are no banks enabled for scanning.
C - The banks enabled for scanning have no frequencies programed into then.

thanks for the reply about the locked out banks.i enabled a bank put some freqs.in it.then uploaded the reband info as directed.i hear traffic in washtenaw co.its still analog.will the county system have to be totally rebanded,or changed over before it goes to digital, and am i to assume that the reband table changes are in the scanner. any way to prove that. thanks in advance for any help that may be forthcoming.

Washtenaw County where? Its always helpful to identify your location when asking questions of this nature. Also unless they are making changes to the radio system, generally rebanding has nothing to do with analog vs. digital talkgroups.

Don't want to speak for the OP but, since I lived there for several years, it's in Michigan. The county with Ann Arbor as it's principle city and home of the Univ. of Mich.

Hopefully he'll let us know for sure.

Post an image of your reband table. Only table I see is VHF/UHF Mot 3600 or 9600 trunking systems.

MPSCS is 800 system using the following tables.
http://forums.radioreference.com/ra...6-2096-rebanded-motorola-trunked-systems.html

The 96 keyboard cannot program the tables and ARC96 may not set them either--at least the demo version doesn't. However, PRO-96 Software - Win96 - Data Management Software for the RadioShack PRO-96 and PRO-2096 Digital Trunking Scanners certainly will and has a 30 day fully functional trial.

programing the pro96 with arc96

in reference to the reply of my last post.i dont know how to post the reband table here, but if you go to the wiki site at radio ref. click on wiki.it brings up home page.in the blue gateways box click on equipment and software. it brings up a yellow page. the first thing on that page is arc96 how to enter reband changes.click on that. it shows the table with installtion instructions. i believe this table is identical to the one at the programing the pro96 and 2096 for rebanded motorola trunked systems that was made reference to. those instructions on the arc96 site are identical to the actual ones used in that program. which is how i did it.i did enter thekey codes and i believe that puts me in the registered catagory. i also have the win 96 program but couldnt get any where with it. maybe i have the wrong conseption here. i thought from what i have read that there were changes to the freqs. that would be compensated for by the enteing of the reband table info, and that the system would go digital which seems to be the direction that is being pushed these days'. i have done that but would like to know its truly on my scanner. any help will be greatly appreciated.

I missed clicking Edit Multi Tables green bar in my demo ARC.

Your tables are correct for Ann Arbor-Washtenaw County Government System or any Mot 3600 system. But insure the new rebanded controls are entered. TGRP's data should remain the same.

If using MPSCS system the table setting would be under Mot 9600 Multi Tables bullet. However, in this case using new rebanded controls and setting Type to P25 AUTO will generate correct tables when a CC is acquired. TGRP's should remain the same.
