I have a Uniden BC125AT, which I have had for quite a while. The antenna does not fit as tight as it used, the pins looked very worn and the antenna wiggles. I am not the best with soldering and wondering if anyone knows anywhere in RI where I can take it to have the BNC replaced.
TIA Marty

Marty you may be better off getting a new one. They are less than $100.00 on Ebay
and about that new on Amazon. A repair shop may bill you that much just to look at it'

If it is only wiggling simply due to the worn nubs, I wonder if you can build up the nubs with solder (or weld) and file/shape it down for firm tightness. Replacing the BNC fitting on the radio is not a simple task for a DIYer.

All reply's at once
Used to take it off to switch before portable antenna & Roof.
Not the best at soldering therefore looking for a better qualified person
Buying a new one may be my best option.

Thanks again.
