Has anyone had experience with Scanner Master programming a scanner? I sent a Uniden scanner to Scanner Master for programming. Specific (and I do
mean specific) instructions were provided. Not a good result. To wit: Several agencies that required NAC programming were returned with CTS programming.
Cannot help but wonder what their reference source may have been. Perhaps a Monday morning lapse? Or using outdated print materials (certainly not RadioReference!)

That is why you should learn how to program yourself. You can set up everything exactly the way you want it. Also, there are often changes in both conventional frequencies and trunked systems. If you know how to program, you can update your files. Otherwise, you need to pay to have the programming updated every time there is a change. If you program yourself, you are more familiar with the systems than someone at another location. Which scanners are you using?

I used them twice it took a very long time but the radios did work ok. It was the many weeks of waiting that was not good.

I completely agree!! I couldn't imagine waiting for someone else to do an update every time something changed.
