Hello Gents,
I am in the phase of designing a Software Defined Radio, and I should
state the (Processing/Computational Requirements) of the
processor/FPGA/DSP to be used.
SDR Parameters:
Operational band: 70-3800MHz
Baseband Bandwidth: 56MHz
ADC/DAC sample rate: 160MHz
ADC/DAC Resolution: 16Bits
Processing/Computational requirements would start with "what do I need
to process, and at what rate?"
The requirement would end up expressing it in MIPS, GigaMACs/s, MB/s,
GHz and/or similar benchmarkable speed metrics.
I would like to know please what is the most accurate way to calculate
that?
