Has anyone had any experience [and luck] in programming a BC396T for a splinter frequency system - and if so did the radio actualy follow the trunk. I've just received a 396 and there are 2 systems in Puerto Vallarta México that are trunked. We won't be back there until November but I wanted to get a leg up on this. Up till now I've been using Trunker and 2 scanners to log the system.

Splinter Systems
Some Motorola trunked systems are configured to have each frequency shift
down 12.5-KHz from the "normal" value. For example, in a normal system
hex 01A is 851.6625, but in a splinter system hex 01A is 851.650.
