It would be nice if we could have Unit IDs pop up on conventional channels like trunked systems.

I should clarify, I would like this on analog conventional channels.

As in OFT (One Frequency Trunk), or program as Conventional and have the same programming structure available in digital systems?

either, probably OFT would be more logical so you can program custom ID names

That is available, but you must self-program it to properly truck track Digital systems. I have some programmed, and with the firmware upgrade, the functionality was improved. Read through some of the forums and manuals to figure out how to do it.
