TP9400 Programming Issue

Hi guys,

Recently purchased 2x TP9400 and am attempting to now program them. I've ran into an issue when attempting to read the radios in the programming software.

The radio states it has entered programming mode but then approximately 2 seconds later I receive the error message "the connected radio cannot be identified" on the PC, the radio then reboots itself immediately after this message.

I have identified the correct COM port and am using V2.8.1.1 of the software alongside a RC-T9P-USB Cable. Is there anything else I can do to stop this error?

Contact your Tait dealer to sell you a new version of the software, it's well out of date.

What he said. Latest is v3.1.2.174. Of course, with a good relationship your dealer can legally give you the current software. Or he can sell it to you.

That would be against the software agreement, probably not worth getting his account terminated for doing stuff like that.
