U/D Two Arrested after Triple Stabbing
THORNTON – Police have made two arrests after three people were apparently stabbed at a house party early Sunday morning.
Thornton Police responded to a party at 1571 East 88th Ave. at 5:30 a.m. Police say some people who were not invited to the party showed up, and that is when the trouble started.
Police say a verbal exchange escalated into a physical altercation and three people were stabbed.
Authorities initially said they had been stabbed with a razor, however, on Monday, authorities said the victims never saw what the weapon was, and police never recovered a weapon.
Police say 35-year-old Joann Gabriela Olguin of Thornton and 40-year-old Angela L. Dewar-Stirewalt of Arvada were arrested for investigation of first-degree assault and conspiracy.
A 37-year-old Thornton woman was taken to St. Anthony North Hospital with face and chest lacerations, police say.
According to police, a 32-year-old Thornton woman was transported to Denver Health Medical Center with cuts on her head and face.
Police say a 27-year-old Denver man received superficial cuts on his stomach and was treated and released at the scene.
