what city do like to scan

Hi i live in the north part of the sound what part of the state do you like to use your scanner to scan, I have mine set up to to scan Everett and parts of the county up north. Any help in trying to figure out the Everett police tac 5 talk group Id would be nice as i have heard them saying they are going to tac 5 before and would like to see whats going on there, this web site dose not have this info.

I mainly monitor King County North air because I am very familar with how they work. I listen to snohomish county a little bit but not very much.

thanks twheat what type of scanner are you useing i belive you had said you where getting the pro-97, if so do you like it, I have a pro-97 and i love this thing i bought new control knobs for it and it is a lot better with them. if you want he number for them let me know it cost about $6.50 and works a lot better then the ones that came with it i hated the taper knob thing the ones that i bought are from kenwood.

yeah I have a pro-97. new knobs would be nice...where can I buy them from? any pictures??

yahoo has a group called pro-97 in the photos there you can find the pictures of the pro-97 with the kenwood knobs and under the flie section you will find a link to where you can buy them.

I had Boeing in one of my scanners to I work at pain field, and thought it would be fun to listen to, kind of slow.

Mainly tacoma area here! Every once in a while i'll monitor king county! Must say it picks up pretty well here in tacoma on my pro-97!

Wow talk about digging up the dead, I guess I should have used spell checker "forum" not how I spelled it, any how my desk has a lot more scanners now I still scan Snohomish SO and now Everett Pd, Island and what I can of King County my PSR-500 and 600 can bring some stuff in. and about three more from when my original post on this years ago.

Given the time. I wonder if it had something to do with the transition between the VHF and 800 trunk. I don't listen to EV PD much, but I can't say I have heard them talk about TAC-5 when I do.

If it's in range of Bainbridge island,Winslow area, I monitor it. Primarily Kitsap. King, Mason Snohomish and Pierce counties .

Side note. My contact in Bremerton Doug Bunnell has vanished. I can't get a hold of him!

Isn't that BOING? :)

Live in Issy (quah) and only do a little monitoring of KC, SPD, SFD, WSP and various other Eastside PD's and ESFR as the only scanner I have is a Pro2067. One of these days, I'll monitor more when I get to replace the scanners that got stolen earlier this year! :(
