I own a BCD996P2 and use freescan for my software, until last week I had my radio running on a computer with Windows 10 Pro 32 bit with no problems since May. My computer’s motherboard burnt out two days ago, so I decided to install the Uniden usb driver on another computer running windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Now I keep getting a 64 bit driver error. I am using the correct driver from Uniden’s website.
I am using the usb cable that came with the radio, also using the latest firmware. I do know how to install the drive from its installed location.
My question is, has anyone else had this problem, how did you solve it?
