It's a standard USB A Male to Mini B cable, you can get them anywhere, nothing special.

$15 is a ripoff for a standard USB cable. You can get them just about anywhere for 1/2 to 1/3 that price. Amazon, eBay, Best Buy, etc. are all better options than Whistler.com

I am sorry but I posted in the wrong place earlier. Where can I find an extra power/program cable for my pro-668. I have 1 but I need another one for in the car.

I have a pro-668 with the whistler upgrade. I have looked at the "easier to read" online. My question is this, is there anyway to go into the menu to lock out certain IDs manually ?

To lock out objects:
1. From main menu, select Browse Objects, then press
Right Arrow
2. Use the Up/Down Arrows keys to browse objects then press
MENU.
3. Select Locked Out and press Right Arrow. A checkmark indicates Lockout is selected. A square () indicates
Lockout is disabled. An uppercase L in the display
indicates a locked out frequency.
NOTE: The SKIP button can be programmed in the
Global Settings Menu (first option under the Expert
section) to perform the Lockout function.

I have the 668. While the power/programming cord is not proprietary, I have found that the scanner is a bit finicky with cords. I've found that the scanner isn't always seen by the computer/software when using cheap Amazon type cables. I get much better mileage from better quality cables. I don't know if other have encountered this problem as well.

Is there anyway to set the back light to come on when an ID activates ? I have looked in the "easier to read" but have found nothing unless I missed it.
Thanks in advance
