The ARRL still prints QST every month. I attend approximately 15 hamfests a year representing the ARRL. I have samples of current issues of QST, On The Air, QEX, and NCJ on my table at every hamfest. Yet, people will walk up to my table and say "I thought they stopped printing QST". Simply untrue.

Sounds like a rule that the club has set. It's not an ARRL rule. It's your choice. If the club officers insist, you can politely walk away. Full disclosure: I'm an ARRL Life Member. I'm also the ARRL Indiana Section Manager.

I don't think 1.0 kHz steps will solve your problem. When the FCC mandated that business and public safety VHF users go to narrowband FM, the frequency coordinators started putting channels on 7.5 kHz spacing instead of the 15.0 kHz that had been used before. You need 7.5 or 2.5 kHz steps to...

All transmitters for that site will be combined into one antenna. There won't be a separate antenna for the control channel.

Kudos to the beta testers for honoring their NDAs and keeping their mouths shut. No quicker way for a beta tester to be black-balled than to talk about the product they are testing before the public release.

I doubt it. All communications products amount to only 25-30% of Kenwood's business. They have been very busy with their land mobile products in the public safety markets through both their Kenwood and EFJohnson brands. I suspect that the land mobile products take the majority of the resources...

When I lived in Lexington KY, there were White Castles there and a Krystal in Richmond, the next town south. Life on the borderline.
