Does anyone happen to know what system somerset County fire is on currently and what they will be switching to in a year? If not, are there any radios that are inexpensive and can do 500-800 mhz and where to purchase them?

Is it possible to change the amount of applied attenuation for the PSR-500? The default is 20 decibels, but can I change this? If so, how do I do it?
